Membership
The Task Force is made up of executive level leaders/officers/board members that represent organizations within the community and additional consultants outside the community. This includes but is not limited to city and county governmental entities, service organizations, non-profits, community and mental health providers, public schools, first responders, health organizations, faith-based organizations, and other agencies and organizations as applicable.

Background

The Community Wellness Task Force was established following the tragedies of student loss in our community.

On October 29, 2019, representatives from the City of Carnation, City of Duvall, Duvall Fire, Duvall Police, PTSA's, Riverview Education Foundation, Riverview Resilient, Riverview School District, Snoqualmie Valley Community Network health based, and faith-based organizations to outline a framework for bringing in resources to help prevent further tragedy and take steps toward healing. We now meet regularly.

The community wellness task force hopes to augment and support existing programs and resources already in place in our school district and through partnerships around our region.
